HOW TO USE TURNITIN ANTI-PLAGIALISM SOFTWARE
The Busitema University Library will conduct training on the use of TurnItIn – an AntiPlagiarism application that is used to detect digital plagiarism. The training targets the Academic Staff of the Faculty of Health Sciences in Mbale. The training will equip the staff with skills to use Turnitin effectively and efficiently. This will enhance academic integrity and ensure that the researchers both staff and students produce quality work.
Mr. Mukungu Isaac, with support from Ms. Nalumu Sarah and Ms. Nandera Sharon, will be in charge of the training. Prof. Julius Wandabwa will preside over the one-hour session. This will happen between 08:00 am and 09:00 am on Wednesday, April 5, 2023

Professorial Inaugural Lecture by Professor Julius W. Wandabwa
The general public and Busitema University Community are hereby invited to the second Professorial Inaugural Lecture by Professor Julius W. Wandabwa, the Dean Faculty of Health Sciences, scheduled for Thursday, November 24, 2022, at Busitema University, Faculty of Engineering at 2:00 pm. Professor Wandabwa will discuss severe maternal morbidity in Uganda: the base of the iceberg; and will showcase his research, teaching and innovations carried out in the University.

ORIENTATION OF FIRST-YEAR GRADUATE STUDENTS
Busitema University Library has organised a Virtual One-day Library Orientation exercise for all First-Year Graduate Students (Masters and Ph.D.) and any other cohort that might be interested to attend. This serves to invite you all to attend this very important orientation exercise. The event shall take place on Thursday 1, December 2022. The exercise intends to create awareness of the available online scholarly library resources and students will be guided through access and use of the digital resource
