Library User Stories is a storytelling initiative created to highlight the real experiences of students and other members of the Busitema University community as they use the library. The project gives a voice to our users by allowing them to share how the library supports their learning, research, and personal growth.

I'm Olupot Moses doing a diploma in Electrical Engineering, Busitema University Main campus.
How often do you use the Busitema University Library and for what purpose
I actually use this library during maybe weekends and usually like an hour but basically discussions that I always hold here with friends.
What do you like most about the library?
I like the readings rooms especially room 2 and 1, they are small and because of our number we can be like six or seven and we can actually have peaceful discussions.
Can you share a memorable experience you have had in the library?
For the memorable feeling about this library, I like the air conditioning at the E learning, its the most interesting part because when you are up there and the AC is on, you feel so good.
How has the library supported your academic or research work?
The library has actually just provided a conducive environment for me to revise and also hold the discussions that I always wanted to have here.
Which library service or resource do you find most useful?
For the library services right now, non yet. Mmmh I like the discussion rooms it's the only thing I have been saying since.
Has the digital library or online resources helped you in any way?
Currently not to lie, I haven't actually accessed it but it is said to be working and efficient but I haven't actually accessed any material yet because I have been facing more discussions more than more deep research.
If you could suggest one improvement, what would it be?
For rooms, despite the E learning for the other discussion rooms, they should actually install an air conditioning or just a fan that could ease the environment for reading and make it comfortable for someone because during afternoons it is ever intense hot.
Why do think every student should use the library?
It is just utilizing the reading rooms that have been provided for their discussions because discussions this semester have really helped me a lot. The discussions that I have held with many of my friends in these reading rooms have actually changed a lot when I go into a paper and I see what we discussed, I literally have a smile on my face and I say yes.
Describe the Busitema University Library in 3 words.
It's fantamaglorious, it's new and it is one of the best in this country as for me.
