Aaron Kalamya is a Ugandan photographer, digital content creator and communications professional with a passion for visual storytelling and the creative use of digital media. His work brings together photography, content development and digital communication to help organisations and communities communicate their stories in engaging and meaningful ways.

At Busitema University Library, Kalamya has contributed to content development and projects aimed at strengthening the Library’s online visibility and digital communication. His involvement supports the Library’s efforts to document its activities, communicate its services and programmes, and build stronger engagement with its audiences through digital platforms.

Beyond institutional communication, Kalamya has an active interest in photography. He is also involved in freelance photography and has participated in photography initiatives connected to Wikimedia in Uganda, including Wiki Loves Earth 2025, an initiative that uses photography to document and promote natural heritage.

Through his combination of photography, creativity and digital communication, Kalamya continues to contribute to the growing importance of visual and digital storytelling in education, information services and public engagement.
