Library User Stories is a storytelling initiative created to highlight the real experiences of students and other members of the Busitema University community as they use the library. This project gives a voice to our users by allowing them to share how the library supports their learning, research, and personal growth.

I'm Tassa Gerald at Busitema campus doing Bachelor's of Science in Computer Engineering at Busitema University, first year semester 1.
How often do you use the Busitema University Library and for what purpose?
I use this library almost daily most especially for research and personal revision.
What do you like most about the library?
What I like about this library is it has a lot of research equipment such as text books, it also has Newspapers that you can use for research apart from academics but to know about what is happening outside.
Can you share a memorable experience you have had in the library?
It has free internet that a person can use to make more research apart from only using text books but you can also use internet for personal revision, research and many others.
How has the library supported your academic or research work?
This library has helped me to gain more courage to make more research because when I was still in my high school we couldn't make research and we also couldn't do discussions but right now this library has discussion rooms and we can discuss.
Which library service or resource do you find most useful?
I can find the most useful one is internet, it can help some students who cannot afford data to go online and make research. It is useful to me because I have been studying online without any cost on my side.
Has the digital library or online resources helped you in any way?
Not really because I have not been using it so much. Most especially I have been using our lirary, not E-Library
If you could suggest one improvement, what would it be?
The improvement I'm suggesting in discussion rooms, the WIFI/ network is not stable and I could maybe request for some improvement so that they can install some WIFI's in discussion rooms for members to make research as they are discussing.
Why do think every student should use the library?
This library has textbooks that they recommend to us from our lecturers to make research and personal revision to understand what I have been taught in the lectures.

This library is conducive, the place is not very hot so it is favourable for revision and it has maximum silence
