Library User Stories is a storytelling initiative created to highlight the real experiences of students and other members of the Busitema University community as they use the library. The project gives a voice to our users by allowing them to share how the library supports their learning, research, and personal growth.
Through a short video interview, Atusiimirwe Olivia speaks openly about:

Atusiimirwe Olivia takes us through her library usage experience.
Ladies and Gentlemen my name is Atusiimirwe Olivia, a year 2 student pursuing a Bachelor's of Water Resources Engineering, Busitema Main campus.
How often do you use the Busitema University Library and for what purpose?
I'm this person who cannot read at home. Everyday I'm always in the library if I'm free, when I have a free day, when a lecture is canceled, I come to the library. I use the library because it is really convenient, it has a good environment, you can read and master everything you have read.
What do you like most about the library?
What I like most about the library is it has has network connected to WIFI. We do our research through our phones on google, on Youtube and everything
Can you share a memorable experience you have had in the library?
There are many because sometimes when I'm bored when I don't want to read there is WIFI I just come and watch tutorials and that's it all.
How has the library supported your academic or research work?
The library has really supported my academic work in a way that we do research, there is internet so whenever you don't have your own data you come to the library there is WIFI you get some good research on YouTube.
Has the digital library or online resources helped you in any way?
Yeah very much because we go on some channels and you access very good textbooks which has more information more than the information we are given in lecture rooms.
If you could suggest one improvement, what would it be?
Maybe the only problem I face with this library is about some sockets you come and you want to charge and you find another person using the socket. You find another socket is not working
Why do think every student should use the library?
Every student should be using this library because it has a lot. The moment you don't have data you can come and access internet because Eduroam is connected 24/7 maybe sometimes when electricity goes but that is understandable but I urge everyone out there to come and make good use of the library because you can make some research through many channels where we are provided with WIFI which can help with that.
