In line with the University’s mandate and mission, our library continues to grow its collection to support the academic, research and community endeavour of the university.

We continuously update and upgrade of library collections to enable our users meet their information need in their subjects of interest.

We provide our users with a hybrid library that enables them to access both electronic and print resources which supplement each other.

Building our library collection is one of the core activities in our library. Our library collection is built to support the running curricula and as well offer resources for voluntary reading. We offer collections for our current and future students as well as faculty.

We take great pride in the quality of information resources we offer our users. As such the close links that exist between librarians and faculty are built stronger to allow for quality additions. Selecting the right titles for our user is our priority in our collection building.  Our stakeholder in collection building includes our students, our staff, librarians and sometimes members of the community.
