On the 17th of January 2023, the students of Bachelors of Education Primary (BEP) and Diploma in Education Primary (DEP) of the Faculty of Science and Education, Nagaongera were appraised about the current library management systems by the library team.

Mr. Omalla Wilberforce informed the students about the library rules and regulations while Mr. Mukose Rogers introduced the students the library gateway: The Library website.

The head librarian informed the students of their need to use the library in their education journey so as to make it easy for them to advance their knowledge with support of the library. He emphasized that the library is comprised of supportive staff who are ever open to support them in their search for information resources for their course works and research. He encouraged the students to love the library and its services and that they should have the library links on their fingertips.

Among the library management systems that were demonstrated to the students included but not limited to:

Library registration

Borrowings and associated rights

Virtual reference services

Electronic resources access

Off campus access platforms

Mr. Mukose Rogers also demonstrated to the students how to generate references for payments using zee pay.
