Get quick access to a wide range of publications to promote knowledge and research in respiratory health, including their flagship publication, the European Respiratory Journal (ERJ), which aims to publish the highest quality scientific and clinical material from the field. Aimed at the study of respiratory health, from a global perspective, this database includes archival material that covers disciplines of respiratory health such as respiratory infections, thoracic oncology, sleeping and breathing disorders, respiratory critical care, pediatric respiratory diseases, pulmonary vascular diseases, intestinal lung diseases and airway diseases. It includes books for school, career, and reading pleasure, as well as titles in over 34 languages. It provides access to a huge collection of textbooks, bestsellers, children's books, career resources, and more for people with reading barriers.
The IWA collection provides hydrologists, researchers and scholars with knowledge about water thereby helping to improve global health and well-being. Key topics covered include water resources, (wastewater, reuse and sludge) water supply and treatment and related environmental fields. The IWA online database contains 17 industry-leading journals within the field including Water Science and Technology, Hydrology Research and Water Research. Publications include high quality research for academics as well as reference work manuals of practice for professionals. In addition to this is a comprehensive water, wastewater and environmental digital library, comprising IWA Publishing’s complete ebook collection.
The OpenEdition Freemium is a multilingual, multidisciplinary digital infrastructure for academic communication and provides access to 175 journals published by University Presses and small academic publishers. OpenEdition brings together four platforms dedicated to electronic resources in multidisciplinary subjects i.e. the online journal, online books, hypotheses, research blog and calendar platforms. OpenEdition Freemium for Journals and book series offers a range of services and formats available for institutions and their users. The journals are available in HTML, PDF and ePUB and allow for perpetual access (archival rights). These reading formats are downloadable and can be consulted from any computing device (computer, eReader, smartphone or tablet), without DRM, quotas or time limits.
Mathematical Sciences Publishers (MSP) is a nonprofit publishing, by and for mathematicians based in Berkeley, California publishing scientific and research literature of the highest quality at the lowest sustainable prices, covering mathematics and other selected fields. Papers are edited for grammar, consistency, and clarity of exposition, with the mathematics laid out at high typesetting standards. MSP is focused on developing software for publishing, and on assisting and creating top-level scientific-research publications. The Company of Biologists is a not-for-profit publishing organisation dedicated to supporting and inspiring the biological community. The Company provides access to five specialist journals: Development, Journal of Cell Science, Journal of Experimental Biology, Disease Models & Mechanisms, Biology Open, and Transformative Journals. With support from CUUL and EIFL, Busitema University library users will have access to The Company of Biologists' Read & Publish initiative, with subscription to three of its five hybrid journals
